Illawarra and South Coast Youth Services Conference

It’s that time of year again and organisation for the Illawarra and South Coast Youth Services Conference is well underway.

The conference is in its 15th year of operation and continues to be an affordable and responsive training opportunity for local professionals working with young people in a variety of services and organisations.

In 2013 the conference is scheduled for Wednesday 27th and Thursday, 28th of  Nov. at Coolangatta Wine Estate Shoalhaven Heads.

Please see attached the 2013 Program outline. We have organised interactive and interesting workshops that are aimed to increase your networks and provide training on contemporary issues.

Keynote Speaker Day 1 | Melinda Tankard Reist 

A Canberra author, speaker, Fairfax Media columnist and media commentator, blogger and advocate for women and girls. She is well known for her work on the objectification of women and sexualisation of girls and efforts to address violence against women. A co-founder of Collective Shout: for a world free of sexploitation, (www.collectiveshout.org), Melinda is named in Who’s Who of Women (Australia) and World Who’s Who of Women.  Melinda is author of Giving Sorrow Words: Women’s Stories of Grief After Abortion Getting Real: Challenging the Sexualisation of Girls, now in its fifth printing and co-edited with Dr Abigail Bray, Big Porn Inc: Exposing the harms of the global pornography industry

Founder and Manager of Interventions Plus. An organisation committed to breaking the cycle of violence. Kenneth is also a successful author. He’s passionate about working with adolescents and believes everyone has potential.

Download the 2013 Conference Program & 2013 Code of Conduct link on the Registration page

  1. Choose your workshop preferences
  2. Fill out rego form on the website making sure all fields marked with an asterisk (*)  are correctly filled out, ENTER the requested code and submit.

When you have submitted your registration, a confirmation email will be sent to you within 3 working days. If you do not receive a confirmation email within this time, your registration has not been successful.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Following a successful Registration, a tax invoice will be sent to the email address indicated in your registration.

Payment option one: Cheque

Please return payment with a copy of the Tax Invoice (cheques payable to: Albion Park Youth & Community Care – Conference)

Payment option two: Direct deposit

Details for Direct Deposit payments will be forwarded on your invoice. ALL direct deposits must note the Conference Registration invoice number on the deposit record to assist us with record keeping.
