The HARP Unit are pleased to offer this training in partnership with Healthy Cities Illawarra, YFoundations http://yfoundations.org.au/ and Associate Professor Kate Senior from University of Wollongong and promises to be a productive day.
This free one-day training is designed to encourage workers from accommodation, youth and health services to engage with the young people they encounter on sexual health prevention, testing and treatment. Sticky Stuff provides practical ideas for working with young people, including games and group-work activities. We explore barriers to this engagement and develop shared values that help us work with young people without shame or judgment. The training develops an understanding of local networks and pathways to testing and treatment.
