18 March 2016 – Shellharbour Sunset Food & Wine Market
Shellharbour City will celebrate Harmony Day this year with food and festivities at Sunset Food & Wine Market, Reddall Reserve.
Council has partnered with LeEvents for the final Sunset Markets for the year. Harmony Day will be celebrated with a range of multicultural food and craft stalls including cultural folk dancing and colourful craft activities
Official Harmony Day merchandise will be supplied to all stallholders inviting them to participate in the celebration.
The highlight of the evening will be a giant brightly coloured maypole that will be erected and the community will be invited to participate and dance. Participants are encouraged to wear their National Dress to promote Harmony Day.
21 March 2016 – Harmony Day Photo Booth at Stockland Shellharbour
In partnership with Stockland Shellharbour, Council has arranged for a photo booth to be situated on Level 1 at Stockland Shellharbour (near Surf Dive Ski) to capture messages from the community about Harmony Day.
These images will be used will form part of a community slideshow that we will use to promote multicultural activities and awareness in our community. Participants are encouraged to wear their National Dress to the photo booth, with free coffee vouchers and Harmony Day merchandise.
