Fair food advocate and university lecturer Sandy Murray will be the keynote speaker for the night and will talk about “Strengthening the local food economy in Tassie – what does it take?
The evening will include a number of local speakers including Chris Bridge from Mahbrook Organics, Donna Walsh from Warrawong Community Lunch and Dylan Powell from Intergen Munch Out Kiama, plus expo stalls.
Connecting over Fair Food takes a “Pay As You Feel” approach, with a suggested minimum donation of $10 at the door.
This event is organised by Food Fairness Illawarra, with support from Shellharbour, Wollongong and Kiama Councils and the Nutrition Society of Australia as part of National Fair Food week. All donations will support future Food Fairness Illawarra events to fuel the Fair Food conversation!
