A new 99-second video has been produced to explain the benefits of HealtheNet and the My Health Record, from the perspective of a patient. Those benefits include:
Improved experience of the healthcare system, by enabling key health information to be available where and when it is needed and reducing the reliance on a patient’s memory.
Increased security and privacy of patient information exchange by the reduction of paper and fax-based processes.
More active and informed participation by patient’s in their own healthcare by improving access to their health information (via the My Health Record Consumer Portal).
