‘Intergen Munch Out’ Recipe Book launch
The Intergen Munchout program is one of the great successes of Kiama Council’s SENTRAL Youth Services team receiving the 2017 Heart Foundation Local Government Award.

It has received considerable attention from news media, drawn to its ground-breaking mix of using food and eating to support social inclusion, building cross-generational relationships, and giving young people the tools to select and prepare healthy food.

To celebrate the success of the program, SENTRAL is releasing its own book, highlighting recipes created during ‘Intergen Munch Out’. The launch will take place at the Kiama Farmers Markets at Surf Beach on Wednesday 18 April from 3pm. There will be copies of the book for sale.

SENTRAL Fitness Challenge
Youth Worker Dylan Powell, will be putting young people through their paces with a free group training session at SENTRAL on Tuesday 17 April from 3 – 5pm. A free meal will be provided after the session.
