Places are still available open for On the Couch-Transgender Thursday 24th May 2018 from 1.00-3.30pm at the Nan Tien Institute.
On the Couch aims to get up close and personal with a panel of speakers who will be hosted by a facilitator around the subject area of Transgender.
Our intention is for this to be a safe space, but nonetheless, one where the audience can ask questions and engage freely.
On the Couch does not have a definitive outcome or message but instead aims to create the space for a civil conversation to take place.
Panel members will include Teddy a health promotion specialist, speaker and educator who is relentlessly trans, John a Community Health Promotion Officer
for the Illawarra Shoalhaven and Southern NSW within ACON’s Regional Outreach team, Nancy the proud parent of a transgender child and Jacqueline who transitioned almost 10 years ago and will be facilitated by Naomi Viret from the HARP Unit.
Afternoon tea will be served at 3.00pm offering the opportunity to talk with the panel members and other attendees.
Cost is $25.00 per person. Please click here to register.
