In collaboration with NSW Organ and Tissue Donation Service, Contemporary Asian Australian Performance (CAAP) and Multicultural Health Service Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District, the NSW Multicultural Health Communication Service (MHCS) brings Life Giving Stories to Wollongong, an award winning storytelling event showcasing the stories of organ and tissue recipients to increase awareness and highlight the importance of organ and tissue donation in the culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities.
On its fourth successful year, Life Giving Stories, directed by master storyteller and photographer William Yang and writer and producer Annette Shun, brings together individuals from diverse backgrounds to tell personal stories on how their lives have been touched by organ and tissue donation.
Watch Life Giving Stories at the Bruce Gordon Theatre this November and be moved by the heart-warming stories inspired by the extraordinary strength and resilience of individuals and families who have been touched by organ and tissue donation. Accompanied by rare photographs from private collections, they reveal engaging and moving insights into family, determination and extraordinary generosity.
The Multicultural Communities Council of Illawarra (MCCI) supports this event.
