The NSW Government recently released the Forecasting Future Outcomes Report. This report, developed by actuarial firm Taylor Fry under contract to Their Futures Matter, outlines the implementation of an investment approach to intervention services.

Community Industry Group has expressed its concern to TFM Executive Director, Gary Groves, that there is no sector representation at the governance level of the reform. We have recommended that the Implementation Board be expanded to include representatives from the sector.

We were very pleased to receive advice from Gary that there will be a call for nominations from NGOs and partners to express interest in participating in a ‘new look’ TFM Implementation Board. We encourage everyone to keep an eye on the TFM website, and to encourage sector reps to nominate. We must ensure the sector has a strong voice in such a major reform
