We are looking for a Senior Aboriginal Health Worker to join our dynamic and dedicated team.

Your new role…

Will be based at Population Health at Camperdown

The primary role of this position is to develop, implement and evaluate health promotion activities, with a focus on Sexually Transmissible Infections (STIs), HIV and viral Hepatitis prevention. 

The ideal candidate will have… 

• This is an identified Aboriginal position. Applicants must be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent through proof of Aboriginality. Exemption if claimed under section 14 (d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience in a health, community or educational field and a current New South Wales Driver’s Licence (P2 licence accepted).
• Good understanding of NSW and local STIs, HIV and viral Hepatitis strategies.

This is a Category A position.  To be employed by NSW Health you are required to provide evidence of vaccination to comply with the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy (PD2018_009)
