Improvements to the NSW Police Force Community Portal

For non-urgent reports online such as lost property, theft, intentional damage and graffiti. The Community Portal is now much easier and faster to use.

From 2 April 2020 you will be able to

  • create a report without having to log in – now you just use your name and email address (please note you will no longer use your MyServiceNSW Account to access the Community Portal)
  • lodge reports much more quickly. Plus, there’s a new simplified search function to find your existing reports
  • lodge a new ‘Fail to Pay’ report. It can be used by service providers to report a failure to pay – such as service station owners to report fuel drive offs, and taxi operators to report fare evaders

If you have an existing police report lodged through the Community Portal, it will not be affected. You will still be able to view it, update it and receive notifications from police The NSW Police Force will provide information on how to access and manage your reports shortly.
