Associate Professor Melissa Kang, also known as Dolly Doctor will answer the top ten most Google searched questions on sexual health. Melissa’s career has been devoted to the health and health care of adolescents and young adults. She is an academic, a clinician, and an advocate. Melissa’s research has taken a population health approach, with major projects exploring access to health care, health system navigation, young people’s sexuality and sexual health (particularly sexually transmitted infections).

Youth Empowerment Tool
Places still available for the online launch of the Youth Empowerment Tool (YET)
Wednesday 21st April at 11am for 45 minutes.
This online tool has been designed to empower young people to engage with health professionals and to increase their knowledge around sexual and reproductive health.
The YET will officially launch as part of Youth Week April 2021 featuring:
- Stuff to know before you go-accessing a health professional, obtaining a Medicare card and bulk billing
- Going for an STI test-what’s involved in going to a health professional for screening
- Knowledge is Power- provides links to trusted and reliable websites
