Shellharbour City Council is calling on the community to make a nomination for the 2023 Shellharbour City Community Awards. 

This year Council has expanded the Community Awards to include: 

• Australia Day Citizen of the Year 
• Australia Day Young Citizen of the Year (under 25) 
• Contribution to the Arts 
• Environmental Warrior of the Year 
• Young Environmental Warrior of the Year 
• Sports Star of the Year  (separate Nomination Form(Opens in a new window))

These awards are designed to encourage, acknowledge and reward the valuable contribution that individuals, communities and businesses make in Shellharbour.  The awards aim to recognise their success and achievements which contribute to making Shellharbour a better community.

Important Dates 

Nominations Open: Monday 3 October 2022 
Nominations Close: Friday 9 December 2022
