As 2016 comes to a close we are now looking forward to plans for 2017.

Two important Interagency dates to lock into your diary today are Thursdays 2 March and 4 May 2017.

The Grants Guy
Yes we have invited Keith back again, this time to talk about Sponsorship, Crowd Funding and Fundraising.

This will be a morning event located at Shellharbour Council

Thursday 4 May

Annual Networking Event
And guess what!? Its Star Wars day!

Yes we have already starting thinking about how we might be able to play with this and ideas so far have included walking a labyrinth and having a drumming circle. Will keep you posted as more comes to light.

This will be an afternoon event located at The Pavilion, Kiama

Youth Week Planning Workshop

Places are still available at ‘Youth Week 2017 Planning Workshop’ at Warilla 9^th November 2016 at Southern Youth & Family Services. http://www.syfs.org.au/syfs-services/southern-youth-and-family-centre/

This workshop has been designed to support Local Government Areas and Youth Week Committees to organise sexual health activities for Youth Week 2017. It will provide hands on, fun activities around sexual health that you can use with young people any time.

This workshop is free, lunch and refreshments will be provided.

NSW Health has partnered with the Department of Family and Community Services for Youth Week 2017. Now in its sixth year, the partnership aims to build greater engagement in the youth sector to help improve the sexual health of young people in NSW. Sexually Transmissible Infections are increasing in NSW with 70% of Chlamydia notifications are young people. The need for LGAs and youth organisations to focus on sexual health is now higher than ever

The Power of Many conference is about collaboration: we are focusing on sparking new ideas and action and have built in many opportunities for networking and collaboration between sectors, organisations and people to drive both business and community focused solutions.
