Free Energy Efficiency Workshop | 26 Feb 2015, 2pm – 4pm

Saving energy together!

You can’t control the cost of energy but you can control how you use it – and by using it more efficiently – benefit your organisation, community and the planet.

Please join with us and other community leaders and change agents in Wollongong for a free energy efficiency workshop. The event will provide attendees with the opportunity to connect, share information from their own efficiency journey and collaborate with the aim of using less to save more. Afternoon tea will be included.

Our aim is to inspire a peer network to take action collaboratively, using the resources available, and become part of a thriving, national Learning Community for the future.

We hope to see you there!

If you haven’t done so already… here’s some next steps

  • Register to be a member at www.neen.org.au
  • Bring a copy of your organisation’s annual electricity & gas bills on the day and we can go through the audit tool with you

Energy Efficiency For People Aged 60+ and of Low Income | Seeking Interest

During April and May this year, RDA Illawarra will be coordinating the recruitment of Illawarra region householders who are aged 60 and over and who are struggling with the rising costs of living to participate in an energy efficiency project.

The project is designed to:

  • trial and evaluate a number of different approaches that assist low income households to be more energy efficient
  • capture and analyse data and information to inform future energy efficiency policy and program approaches.

We are aiming to have up to 900 households involved by mid-2014, and we hope that you can help us achieve this target by forwarding details of the project during the recruitment period.

If you are in regular contact with these members of our community via mail-outs, newsletters, bulletin boards or forums we would appreciate your help with the recruitment.
