Seniors Week Expo in Kiama
For Seniors Week 2014, on Monday 17th of March, the Kiama Bowling and Recreation Club are planning to host a seniors information event.
The Club will be opening its auditorium to local community organisations who wish to advertise themselves by way of a small stall (table). With the RTA and Kiama Council already in attendance to host a scooter safety awareness class in the Clubs car park, the event should attract a good audience from older people in the community.
The auditorium is sheltered from the weather and provides a comfortable setting to showcase organisations services.
There will be no cost to participating organisations and the Club will provide tea and coffee facilities, as well as its usual facilities.
If you interested in having a stall at the Kiama Bowling Clubs Seniors Week indoor marketplace and information event, or have questions regarding the concept contact:

IIHS Volunteer Expo
Once again Illawarra In Home Support will be holding a Volunteer Expo at The Kiama Showground Pavilion on 14th May 2013.
The aim of the Expo is to promote and recognise the valuable role that volunteers play, not only in our services, but within the whole community.
The Expo will also give people an opportunity to find out about volunteer positions within the local community and talk to volunteer representatives and community organizations.
There will be guest speakers, entertainment, light refreshment and the Lion’s club will be cooking a BBQ lunch.
