Financial Counselling | Wesley Mission

I would like to introduce myself and advise your network that I have free appointments available in the Illawara region for referral of clients who are in financial distress.

I have recently started work with Wesley Mission however I have six years of experience as a financial counsellor.

My new role is Government funded under Responsible Gambling Fund and our service provides therapeutic and financial counselling for people and/or their families with problem gambling issues. We are also available to work with vulnerable people who are at high risk of developing gambling addictions as a relapse prevention approach.

A financial counsellor is trained to assist your client see their financial situation clearly and ensure they gain a knowledge of all their options fully. We may also provide assistance with advocacy if we determine it would be useful.

The service is free, independent and confidential to clients who are in financial distress and would like to manage their money more effectively. There are face to face or telephone appointments available. Referral method is to give clients my work number to book an appointment.
