The Federal Government Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development has released details of the National Stronger Regions Fund with applications accepted from 1 October until 28 November 2014. One billion dollars has been committed over five years from 2015-2016.

RDAI will conduct an information session on Tuesday 21 October from 1:30pm to 3:00pm at AiGroup, Level 1,166 Keira St, Wollongong.

You are invited to come along to find out more about how you might benefit from submitting an application under this program.

Funding is for capital projects (construction of new infrastructure, or the upgrade, extension or enhancement of existing infrastructure). Grant funding must be matched in cash on at least a dollar for dollar basis.

Local Government and incorporated not-for-profits are eligible for grants between $20,000 and $10 million and with completion by 31 December 2019. Projects should deliver ongoing economic benefit to the region and support areas of disadvantage.
