Outdoor Connections Kids Holiday activities offers creative outdoor adventures this January. Our day sessions are suitable for children aged 5-12 and run from 9am – 3pm. We have sessions at three local sites in Kiama, Gerringong and Seven Mile Beach. Each site offers a different potential for activities so check out our website for more information and booking.

SHINE WOMEN, is a Community based small group programme, for supporting, empowering and mentoring local women, to discover their worth and strength to make healthy life decisions.
Jeanine Maxwell, a qualified Social Worker, worked in Child and Family Welfare agencies, and Counselling, during her 40 year career, before retiring to Kiama.
In 2012, at the invitation of Kiama High School, Jeanine recruited, trained and facilitates a team of women to run ShineGirl for Year 8 girls selected by KHS, who are struggling with the pressures of adolescence.
ShineGirl is a Personal Development, Life Skills Programme. The students love the programme, and the KHS staff say the girls who have completed the 9 week Course have increased confidence, and are more at ease socially. Kiama High School requested a similar programme for boys. Jeanine recruited and trained a team of men to facilitate Strength in KHS, for Year 8 boys. It commenced this year, 2016. Shine and Strength are supported financially by KHS P&C, Kiama Council, local Rotary and Lions Clubs.
