White Ribbon Day
We need your help again to raise awareness and cook some snags at our annual WRD BBQ’s!
Last year we held successful BBQ’s at both Shellharbour and Wollongong Bunning’s to raise awareness about White Ribbon Day, it was loads of fun, a great team effort, many of us made new connections with other service providers and we also raised lots of money which has allowed us to contribute support this year to projects such as the new cinema advertisements that will be launched at a WRD event this year on Saturday 24th Nov in Crown Street Mall.
Attached is a roster for…
- Wollongong Bunning’s (1st page)
- Shellharbour Bunning’s (2nd page)

Professional Practice Program for International Students: Accounting
Information Session for Prospective Host Organisations – Wednesday, 24th Oct 2012
Careers Central at the University of Wollongong has been placing international students in work placements within local, regional and Sydney based organisations for the past three years. Interest from businesses wishing to host international student interns continues to grow as employers become more committed to delivering on their diversity strategies, are more culturally aware and, are realising the many benefits student interns can bring to their workplace. Visa regulations are now more open to support these ‘summer placements’ that are available for up to three months.
To explain how the program works, as well as provide answers to your queries, we are inviting representatives from all organisations, of all shapes and sizes to an information session on October 24th.
Please join us for refreshments and hear the insights and experiences from past host employers and graduates of the program.
