Obsolete Furniture

Does your organisation have any furniture that is no longer required?

Something that is taking up space in an office or furniture graveyard?

I am looking for 3 x Office wardrobe style tall cupboards with shelves, preferably that lock.

These pieces of furniture will be located in schools to accommodate the resources for the projects that I run in each of them.

The first time we have offered an Accredited course in Auslan in this area. You will get a ‘Certificate II in Auslan’ at the end of your course. It starts on 23rd October in Kiama.

We are excited to announce that we will be offering the Certificate II in Auslan in 4 new locations!

Auslan or Australian Sign Language is the language of the Australian Deaf Community. It’s a unique and rich visual language. Starting on Friday, 23rd October 2015, the course is delivered in our innovative blended learning model which allows you greater flexibility. The theory component of the course is completed online at your own pace while the language component is completed face-to-face over six weekends.

Certificate II enrolments close at 5pm, Sunday 18th October 2015. For more information about the course, locations and timetables visit our website.

The Deaf Society | New Home

The Deaf Society (South Coast office) is looking for a new home. We have been on the South Coast for approximately 7 years providing Deaf Society Services to the local Deaf Communities.

We would like to rent an office space within another local service (in the Shellharbour – Warrawong area, possibly Wollongong if needed).

If you have a space which may be appropriate for us, please contact Sara on southcoast@deafsociety.com or mobile 0406 940 899.

We are happy to have a chat with anyone, and answer any questions which may help us to find a place where we can continue to provide our service to the South Coast Deaf Communities.
