The Community Strengthening Grants program is a small grants program which provides for one-off projects to build capacity and resilience in communities across the Illawarra Shoalhaven District with a focus on disadvantaged groups within these communities, particularly families and individuals living in social housing.
Community Strengthening Grants are strictly one off grants with no ongoing funding options.
Under this Program you can apply for 1 year funding of between $1,000 and $25,000. All funds must be expended on the project, inline with the submitted application, within 12 months of the first payment being received.FACS
This is the first round of this grants program and there are limited funds available. A reserve list of suitable projects will be kept in case additional funds become available prior to the running of the next round.
Information on Eligibility and Selection Criteria can be found in the Community Strengthening Grants Guide.
