Elaine George, is a sexologist in private practice in Sydney and is completing her PhD in male sexual desire.
She conducted quantitative research and presented the initial findings at the WAS (World Association of Sexology) Congress in Brazil last September and is now undertaking the qualitative research to ascertain how men perceive, interpret and define sexual desire – and also women to gain their perspective on MEN – it’s all about men, not women!
Elaine is currently recruiting participants to participate in a qualitative interview face to face or by telephone which will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. The interview is confidential. Both men and their partners are invited to participate.
Men and Women: the women’s questionnaire mirrors the one used with men so she is not asked about her desire but how she interprets her husband/partner’s desire etc.
If you have been in the same relationship for over 12 months and are interested in participating, please contact Elaine directly on 0402533704 or via email on elaine@sexologyaustralia.com.au
For background information on the research project, you can watch an interview conducted by Bobbie Buck last year on Life Matters discussing male sexual desire and the quantitative findings.
