SCARF is seeking a Program Manager for 20 hours per week on a fixed term 12-month contract.
Working in collaboration with SCARF’s small team of paid staff and broad volunteer network, the Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that the programs and services offered by SCARF contribute to its mission, are delivered in a safely and appropriately, and are responsive to the needs of people from refugee backgrounds.
The position oversees development and implementation of SCARF programs including planning, design, staffing, risk management, monitoring day-to-day delivery to maintain and improve quality, evaluating outcomes and securing funding for current and new program activities. Critically, the Program Manager is responsible for identifying funding opportunities for programs and ensuring grant funded projects are delivered in accordance with associated funding agreements.
The Program Manager will provide the relevant organisational development, strategic-thinking and operational management required for the post. The Program Manager will report directly to the CEO.
